March 19, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Continuing with the updates on Sprint, let us also tell you that the carrier is all set to announce a WiMAX-enabled version of the Nexus S at next week’s CTIA. The big news now is the discovery of a new Nexus S 4G logo that Sprint will unveil at the CTIA.

The logo is rumored to represent the new partnership between Sprint and Google, and will be considered the official logo of the Nexus S 4G. We already have news that the Nexus S 4G is coming to Sprint’s network, with the expectation being that it’ll be announced at CTIA. The emergence of this Nexus logo confirms that.

Sprint actually had the plans to launch the Nexus One last year but postponed it due to the then announced launch of the HTC EVO 4G. Now, the company plans to make up for that delay by launching the Nexus S 4G. Also, the device offers 4G capabilities unlike the original model.

Well, we expect a splendid and heavy Android event by Sprint at CTIA. The carrier has tweeted about their plans.  Stay tuned for more updates from the upcoming CTIA.
