CTIA is round the bend, and Sprint is going to make it big this year. In the run up to the big event, a leak has trickled down from the Sprint strategy books, and the most important among them tells us that the carrier is all set to announce the HTC EVO 3D. That’s not all – there’s more. Read on:

The HTC EVO 3D running Android Gingerbread 2.3 with HTC Sense UI features 4.3-inch qHD 960 x 450-pixel Autostereoscopic 3D display will come with a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm 8660 Snapdragon CPU.

Other exotic elements include dual rear 5-megapixel cameras with a dedicated camera button and another 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The storage department has 4GB of RAM, 1GB ROM, while power will be provided by 1730mAh battery. It also allows HDMI and 3D output.

Another device that will see the wraps lifted will be the HTC EVO View 4G. The device will come with a 7-inch display of 1024 x 600-pixel capacitive touch screen. Packed in an aluminium unibody design, it runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and offers an optional pen support.

The latest HTC Sense UI optimized for tablet devices has been thrown in too. Almost a look alike of the HTC Flyer tablet, the EVO View 4G will offer DLNA and HDMI-out support and will be equipped with a 4000mAh battery.

Sprint will also be announcing the Motorola Xoom too at the event. The device will feature on Sprint network soon this year. It is learnt that the Sprint Xoom will be similar to Verizon version, except that it will offer support to 4G WiMAX on the Sprint network.

Apart from these three devices, Sprint will also be introducing the Samsung Rant 3 (which is a touchscreen messaging phone with a solar panel) and also two versions of the  BlackBerry PlayBook.

That’s quite a handful from Sprint coming your way, indeed. Tell us which one you are planning to own.
