White iPhone 4 to be released in April exclusively on AT&T, suggest latest rumors

March 10, 2011, By Shawn Wagnon

Plenty of news has been doing rounds regarding the white version of the iPhone for the past couple of days. The only news that came out officially was the confirmation from Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak that it was indeed being manufactured and was ready for shipping. Recent images of white iPhone 4 have surfaced in the Far East adding fuel to fire. Now the speculation is that an April release of the white version of iPhone 4 is on the cards.

We are happy about that part of the news but not too pleased with the next half. The same rumors indicate that the white version of iPhone 4 will be exclusively available on AT&T on release. So, if you are on Verizon, you might as well wait for the white iPhone 5. (Which might be said for everyone, if white iPhone 4 is coming in April and iPhone 5 in both colors is out in June/July)

So, has Apple been working on an exclusive AT&T model of the white iPhone 4 and hence Verizon is left behind? This, if true, will not make Verizon Wireless one bit happy as they already have not done too well with the iPhone sales. (At least not as brilliantly as many predicted) Of course, with Apple and its products nothing is certain till the day it is official. So stay tuned…
