Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc on March 21; UK, Are You Ready?

March 9, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Hope you remember our coverage of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc when the device arrived at MWC. We had dissected the device to bring you the salient features that were more than capable of charming you to buy one. We now hear that the Sony Ericsson cutie handset is hitting UK sales counters starting March 21. That puts to end your wait for the Sony Ericsson piece, doesn’t it?

To be outed in black and silver hues, the device will have all in it to lure you to buy one for yourself. Guys at Pocket-lint have been told by Mobiles.co.uk that stocks will be available starting on that date.

Once you head for Mobiles.co.uk, you will also come to know that the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc will be available on Three, O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone. Now with many a carrier waiting to fly with the device, the best deal you should be opting for should be £29.99 pricing for the phone and a £25 a month contract for 2 years on offer. Check out who is offering what before you go for the purchase.

The 8.7mm thickness and the fairly wide 4.2-inch LCD Touchscreen have been our personal favorites when we first lusted on the device in Barcelona. The Sony Mobile Bravia Engine and the Android Gingerbread OS add to the lure. Now, we don’t have to keep on elaborating on what all specs and features the phone will carry along. In case you would like a refresher, here’s the list.

Now that would mean a lot to all you Sony Ericsson fans out there, right?  Tell us if you are ready with the money so that you can pick yours this March 21. In the meanwhile, checkout the video review of the device when it was shown at the  MWC 2011 in Barcelona.
