Former F1 world Lewis Hamilton used to drive there, and now you can to – thanks to the upcoming Super Karts title for Nintendo Wii, the Rye House Kart Raceway in Hertfordshire will be available for you to drive around!

Follow Lewise Hamilton's footsteps with Super Karts

Many F1 drivers have been known to hone their driving skills at the track in the south of England, and with Super Karts offering a new way for fans to try their hand at one of the UK’s oldest kart track, don’t be surprised to see drivers will relatively little physical experience taking to the tracks in real life over the next few years.

Rye House Kart Raceway will be the only real-life circuit on the game, and developers Nordic Games hope that it will give players the chance to experience the adrenaline rush of being a Formula 1 driver. They should also be pretty happy that t hey have been able to utilise a real-life track with considerable heritage…

Employing a two-player split screen mode, Super Karts offers high-speed racing in lightweight vehicles, with TV-style replays making for a highly realistic kart racing experience. All of the expected competitions and kart unlocks are available in the game, with three kart classes from high speed commercial karts to 250cc super karts from which to select your vehicle from.

Super Karts is out now, and Rye House Kart Raceway will be running a promotional event in the near future…
