Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike Map Pack for PS3 users now out and available: Olin handing out free DLC codes on Twitter?

Patch 1.07 update for PS3 users is now available for free download on the Playstation Network and along with it comes the First Strike Map Pack for Playstation 3 players. Josh Olin tweeted about 6 hours ago that the Patch update was out and the DLC Pack would be available in an hour. Reports now indicate that the First Strike Map Pack for COD: Black Ops on PS3 is indeed out and available for purchase.

The First strike Map Pack has come out in time and while it is a month late on PS3 compared to the Xbox 360, we are happy that it finally arrived. The new pack includes Berlin Wall, Discovery, Stadium, Kowloon and Ascension maps and has already sold 1.4 million units on the Xbox 360 platform. Now you can enjoy it on PS3 while the PC gamers will have to wait a bit longer.

It is also being rumored that Josh Olin is handing out a few free DLC codes (on his Twitter page, it seems) and while we cannot confirm it, do let us know if you have got one of those from the man himself. We would like a free First Strike map Pack download code ourselves, so why not try your luck. The more guaranteed way of getting it would be buying the Pack. So, up for First Strike Map Pack on PS3?
