If you are among those digital camera lovers tracking news on Olympus’ products, you know very well that the company had announced the SZ-10 ultra-zoom camera last month. As if in efforts to keep spirits sky high, Olympus has now unveiled two more models to follow up the devices in the SZ line up.

The SZ-30MR, one among the two new models unveiled in the SZ range, is the flagship model in this series. It comes with the TruePic III+ processor to make the captured images perfect. It supports 1080p HD movie shooting and capturing 16 megapixel still pictures. Both the games go together.

Olympus claims that SZ-30MR is capable of recording two movies in different modes simultaneously. Its efficient features allow you the simultaneous recording of two movies from different angles also. The flagship model comes with an exceptional zoom of 24x wide optical zoom equivalent to 25-600 mm.

The other model unveiled, SZ-20, has not that much power to claim. It has 12.5x optical zoom. The new entrants in the SZ series are equipped with backlit CMOS sensor and dual image stabilization.

Both the devices feature 3-inch wide crystal clear display for previewing and composing the pictures and movies. Additional features include 3D shooting, Face Detection, Pet Detection and i-Auto mode, an ISO range from 80 to 3200.

The flagship model will be hitting the shelves in April his year with an expected price tag of £299.99. SZ-20 also is expecting a similar arrival but no clue about the pricing.
