Apple drops iPad price to $399 after the launch of iPad 2

The time at the top for the iPad has come to an end; the original one that is. With its successor now in the open, Apple has decided to put the iPad on sale and it is now available for $399. That is a $100 drop in the price tag after the launch of iPad 2. This was pretty much expected as Apple would be trying hard to sell the remaining iPad stock now before everyone wants only the iPad 2.

This also means a refurbished iPad can now be yours for $349. All this will only attract more people to buy the iPad and with the new reduced price it looks like a very decent buy for those who might have previously considered it out of their ‘range’. This also could mean that cheaper iPads will soon find their way onto sites like eBay.

So in case you are not too picky, do not need the cameras and are just happy with the original iPad, then now is the time to go and get one. Not everyone needs ‘cutting edge’ tablets and some of us are just as happy with iPad in the stores today!
