Verizon’s Windows Phone 7 plans are indeed happening. A high resolution picture found in the wild has confirmed that the HTC Trophy WP7 smartphone is indeed coming to Verizon. So, that means if you had any inkling of the HTC Trophy smartphone arriving on Verizon’s network, you can be happy that it indeed is bound to happen very soon.

The latest version of Windows Phone 7 fully functional with the copy/paste capabilities has been stumbled upon by folks at Engadget. The image gives us the idea that this could be something akin to Apple’s iPhone in terms of design. As for the specs, the phone comes with a 5 megapixel camera with single LED flash and speaker on the back.

Other features include three back, start, and search buttons placed just beneath the phone’s 3.8 inch display. Further, a microUSB slot on the left, a dedicated camera button on the right, a 3.5 mm headphone jack on the top right and a power button on the top add to the easy design elements.

The Windows Phone 7 device  will have under the hood 8GB of internal storage, a 1 GHz CPU, 576 MB RAM, G-Sensor, digital compass, proximity and ambient light sensors, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and  Bluetooth 2.1.

The design is indeed easy to the eye, with the company preferring to give the miss on any extravaganza. We like that of course – we all liked the iPhone design, didn’t we?

The picture in fact confirms a variety of facts. The most enticing one among them being that it would be a Windows Phone 7 device from HTC on Verizon. Have you decided on readying your shopping plans so that you can pick it the moment Verizon goes public with it?
