Mark Zuckerberg now becomes a comic here: Facebook creator to inspire kids with the comic strip

February 24, 2011, By Shawn Wagnon

We will have to wait a bit longer to find out the fate of ‘The Social Network’ at the Oscars, but in the meantime Facebook founder mark Zuckerberg is donning a new avatar. This one will see him join the likes of Batman, Superman and Spiderman. The youngest billionaire on the planet is now part of the comic book world with ‘Mark Zuckerberg: Creator of Facebook’ now out on sale.

Written by freelance writer Jerome Maida, obviously the man is portrayed in a much more ‘likeable’ way in the comic book than he was in the Hollywood version of the Facebook story. Of course, that does not mean that the movie was biased against him. Just means that the comic strip is smoothing out the rough edges and is putting a positive spin on things.

Jerome Maida says that he tried to be as fair as possible and this is exactly what he had to say about the character depiction in the comic:

“Rightly or wrongly, Mark dealt harshly with some people on his way to where he is today. As we see, he left many people feeling betrayed. I try my best to be fair here.”

So, if you really are a big Facebook and Zuckerberg fan, maybe you should go buy one of these right now. Of course, what we are more interested in is, What his superpower would be, if you had to give him something? Get creative and give us your thoughts on that…
