Motorola Atrix 4G Rooted even before its official launch day by guys at XDA Developers Forum!

February 19, 2011, By Shawn Wagnon

It is one thing to have your recently released gadget rooted. Even if things get unlocked after a week of their release like in the case of the Apple TV, we can understand. (Even though Steve Jobs would not) But Motorola must be pretty surprised themselves to see the Motorola Atrix 4G rooted and that too even before its official release into the US market!

For the guys at the XDA Developers Forum, there could not have been better timing though. This has happened just a couple of days before the official launch of the Atrix 4G on AT&T. (And a day ahead of the pre-orders being delivered) They have sent the pictures of Atrix 4G with Superuser access and also one that is running Titanium Backup to prove that the device has indeed been rooted.

The actual way in which this has been done is not yet available for everyone over the net, but so isn’t the Atrix 4G. We are sure that by the time the Atrix is out even the rooting process would be out in the open for those interested to try it out.

So, just keep a track of things, get your Atrix 4G home and then we will give you the link to the “How to root your Atrix 4G”, the moment it is out… If you are interested in it, that is!
