Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro Hands-On Video from MWC; Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo to be Available from Telstra in Australia

February 18, 2011, By Leo Xavier

Yesterday, we had reported about our hands-on experience with the Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro at the Mobile World Congress, and we also showed you some hands-on pictures of the upcoming handset. Now, we have a hands-on video to share with you.

As you might remember, although the Pro that was demoed at the event had some software issues, the design and build was impressive. The device felt really comfortable in the hand, and we were impressed by the well spaced keyboard.

In the video, you will be able to see the device’s pinch-to-zoom functionality, and the touchscreen response is impressive. Although the red version in the video looks cool, one of our guys was particularly interested in the silver model.

And despite having a slide out keyboard, the device did not feel much heavier or thicker than any other Android devices that we have laid our hands on.

Check out the video, and you can comment about it in the box below.

Meanwhile, the other handset announced at the MWC, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, will be available in Australia before the end of June.

Telstra has announced that it would be offering the device exclusively. But unfortunately, it didn’t give out any hints regarding the price of the device.

And we have the latest info for all the game lovers out there who are waiting for the arrival of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play.

Glu has announced the games that have been developed for the new device. Led by Glu’s original title Gun Bros, the device’s gaming portfolio also includes Guitar Hero 6, Family Guy: Time Warped and original Glu title Super KO Boxing 2.

The company has announced that it will be collaborating with Sony Ericsson to bring out additional titles for this year.

Stay tuned to this space for more Xperia news.
