February 17, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

A few hours before the curtains went up on MWC 2011, we had been exposed to this stunner of a smartphone by Sony Ericsson. And, on February 14, the Barcelona venue too got a taste of the phone.  Before you jump into conclusions, let’s tell you we are talking about the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo. Gosh, it’s a stunner indeed!

Maybe, there is a feeling among many that the Neo belongs to the ‘not so famous’ category under the Xperia name. But then, think before you write it off so easily. One aspect we would like to reiterate is that the phone is a charmer of the first order.

An enticing 3.7-inch, 854×480 display would lure you at first sight, and couple with the Bravia Mobile Engine, the video capabilities makes you think you are watching your favorite music video on your hi-def television screen.

The key pad, as you know already, has been given the miss. Under the hood is a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor and the phone runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. Other features such as 8-megapixel camera plus another camera too – this one being a front-facing piece.

We got to shoot the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo in all splendor.  Like any of the Sony Ericsson devices, the Xperia Neo too is extremely covetable and we guess you would agree with us . Tell us what you feel of the Xperia Neo.
