Motorola Atrix 4G now available for Pre-Order at AT&T: Atrix makes waves back in US even as MWC captures the world’s attention!

There is no doubt that Motorola Atrix has attracted plenty of interest thanks to the dual-core Tegra 2 Processor on the inside and the ‘Laptop Dock’, which allows you to convert the mobile into a moving netbook. While the attention of the world is firmly set on the Mobile World Congress 2011 going on at Barcelona, back home in the US, it is still the Atrix that is attracting fair bit of buzz. For those who love it, now is the time to put in your pre-orders…

The Atrix is now available for pre-order at AT&T and the biometric HSPA+ smartphone on a two-year contract with AT&T will set you back by $200. For those who want to use the laptop dock and expand the Atrix into a portable netbook, you will have to fork out another $300 to get that done. Then it seems like you will have to pay $45 a month for the DataPro 4GB + Tethering data plan along with what you already pay as the phone bill!

Even the multimedia dock is going to cost $130, making the whole thing go into the range of a tablet device. You can get a basic iPad for less! But, this is cutting edge (according to Motorola at least!) and while we still have not yet made up our mind on Atrix, you can pre-order, if you want it bad. March 6th is when it will start hitting the shelves.

Going for the Atrix with the netbook extension and all? Fancy the deal?
