The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2011 is just a few days away to kick-off in Barcelona. Many companies have already detailed on their plans for the MWC. Opera has disclosed that they will be unveiling new versions of Opera Mini browser at MWC.

Opera, one of the leading browser developers, has found their mobile version browsers getting wide-popularity compared to its desktop product in the recent past. Opera Mini and Opera Mobile – has now become almost a standard for easy web browsing on smartphone devices.

According to a latest estimate from this Norway based browser giant, more than 100 million people use Opera browser on their mobile phones across the world. The figures issued by the company claims that around 90.4 million people use Opera Mini every month. Opera Mobile is less popular compared to Mini with just 15 million users per month. Together, it makes 105 million users for Opera browsers for mobile phones.

However, they aim to bag more users with the launch of new versions of the Opera Mini at the MWC. The company has announced that MWC will witness the launch of new Opera Mini versions for Android devices, iPhone, iPad and Symbian devices.

Though the focus is on the Opera Mini, Opera Mobile also will get its latest versions for Android and Symbian at MWC. The new versions are heard to be lighter so that they won’t eat up your batteries and clog the network.
