HTC Thunderbolt 4G at $749.99 off contract: Best Buy Leak indicates Thunderbolt Price for those not willing to sign on with Verizon Wireless

If you do not wish to be bound by two-year contracts which offer you the HTC Thunderbolt 4G at a reduced price and want a bit more freedom, then Best buy has just indicated what you need to shell out to buy the HTC Smartphone outright. You will have to part with $749.99 to pocket the Thunderbolt 4G without any strings attached and that price tag might just ensure that most (if not all) go to Verizon to buy the mobile at a subsidized price.

This news just came in thanks to another one of those leaks from Best Buy’s internal network even as we were expecting HTC or Verizon to confirm the off-contract price. The HTC Thunderbolt 4G has been long-awaited and should be pretty popular once it hits the shelves. For those still unaware, here are a few of its key features:

  • 4.3-inch Touchscreen
  • 8 megapixel camera with LED flash
  • 720p video capture
  • 1.3 megapixel front facing camera
  • 1GHz processor
  • 4G connectivity

Now that we do know what the HTC Thunderbolt 4G will cost off contract, we are assuming that many more will be tempted sign on the dotted line in case Verizon offers a considerable discount. Are you waiting for the Thunderbolt 4G? Going for the deal Verizon might offer? Still willing to buy the handset outright? Maybe you will decide that the day Verizon gives official price and release date!
