While the Apple iPad is constantly in news, the tablet that is consistently making net waves these days is the Motorola Xoom. From its Super Bowl appearance to all the ads and the speculation; there seems to be Xoom news around daily. Now, a Wi-Fi only Motorola Xoom has been spotted in Dubai. This one is the Silver Version of the Honeycomb tablet and the hand-on video makes for an interesting watch indeed.

For those still in the dark, the Xoom is a tab bit shorter than the current iPad, but sports a dazzling 10.1-inch screen (larger than the iPad) and offers 1280×800 resolution. The UI in the video indicates it is pretty fast and hassle-free thanks to the dual-core 1.0GHz Tegra processor and 1GB RAM on the inside. This means that the final version that will reach us sometime in February, here in the US, should be a dream to handle.

Both Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi and 3G version of the Xoom are slated to be launched in the UAE in March. Leaked Best Buy price tag indicates $800 for the tab and that means getting a contract from the carrier for a fair price would be essential. So, while we are waiting to delve into the Honeycomb specific apps for the Xoom, enjoy the hands-on video on offer…
