Samsung Galaxy Indulge to Become First LTE Smartphone in the US

Everybody is anxiously waiting the unveiling of Samsung’s latest devices at the upcoming MWC scheduled to begin in a few days. But now, one of Samsung’s new Android smartphones, the Galaxy Indulge has been spotted on MetroPCS’ official website.

Earlier, we have heard a lot about the so-called SCH-R910 Galaxy Indulge, and it is believed that it is the same device as the previously leaked Forte.

The device is expected to be coming in the near future, and when released it will be the first LTE smartphone on MetroPCS. And the device might also get launched before the release of the Verizon HTC ThunderBolt, which will make the Indulge the first LTE smartphone offered on any carrier in the US.

Just to note a few of the Indulge’s specs, the device comes equipped with a 1GHz processor (most probably Hummingbird), and it will run the Android 2.2 Froyo operating system.

The device will also have WiFi and a 3.5-inch HVGA display. And the $399 price tag does not seem to be bad when we remember that the carrier is not interested in contracts.

We will let you know as soon as more info on the device arrives. So stay tuned.
