Fujifilm has announced the US debut of its latest premium digital camera, the FinePix X100. The latest product, which gives you the ability to capture extraordinary, high quality images, will be available in the coming month, and it is having a price tag of $1,199.95.

The FinePix X100 compact digital camera has been specifically designed for professional and advanced amateur photographers.

The retro-styled X100 comes with modern technology to deliver the ultimate in image quality, and also brings the classic look and feel of traditional film cameras.

The camera, which comes equipped with a 12.3 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, features a 2.8 inch 460K resolution LCD screen and the world’s first Hybrid Viewfinder.

The X100 comes with the Fuji EXR image processor. When combined with the high-sensitivity sensor, the EXR Processor achieves the highest resolution, sensitivity and dynamic range ever produced by a digital camera in the FinePix family.

It also features a 23mm F2 Fujinon lens (equivalent to a 35mm semi wide-angle).

Other features include 720p HD video and Stereo sound recording, dedicated controls for the shutter speed, aperture, exposure compensation and a “one touch” control for switching between optical viewfinder and electronic viewfinder modes.

We have added hands-on videos of the new camera in action at CES 2011. Check it out.
