iOS 4.3 Beta 3 Available for Developers

February 4, 2011, By Alex Ion

Apple have rolled out the iOS 4.3 Beta 3 for developers, and developers only. Following a first release on January 12th and a second one on January 13th, this time we’re getting closer to the release of the full version of iOS 4.3 that Apple thinks will be a great success.

Some of the new goodies includes in the iOS 4.3 SDK include full-screen iAd banners on the iPad, the ability to stream video to Apple TV via AirPlay or HTTP Live Streaming statistics. Another interesting addition is the new Personal Hotspot feature that will allow any WiFi enabled device to tether wirelessly to the iPhone’s 3G connection — a feature that Verizon has advertised for a lot, coming to AT&T, too.

The beta also brings new multitouch gestures that allows up to 5 fingers on the display. But this feature is only meant to grab reviews and won’t make it in the final version.

For those of you who don’t know it, this is a pre-release version of iOS 4.3 for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch, that is available only to members enrolled in the iPhone Developer Standard or Enterprise Program.
