T-Mobile HTC Pyramid Android 4G Smartphone Coming in Q2 2011, Says Rumor

February 3, 2011, By Leo Xavier

You will love this news if you are someone who is not at all interested in the latest smartphones from HTC such as the ThunderBolt and the Inspire 4G, but would like something high-end from the manufacturer. It appears that HTC has plans to introduce a new device that will be released on T-Mobile’s network.

The new rumor is suggesting that the manufacturer will be introducing the device codenamed Pyramid, and it will be launched sometime late in the second quarter of this year.

The new device, which will be running the Android operating system, has been rumored to come equipped with a 4.3-inch qHD display with a resolution of 960×540, a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8260 processor, and will also provide support for T-Mobile’s super fast 4G network.

Although the HTC ThunderBolt isn’t a bad device specs wise, those users that are in need for the highest-end specs available will most probably prefer the DROID Bionic or the Atrix 4G.

Now, with the start of the latest rumor about the Pyramid, those users will end up holding off to see what HTC and T-Mobile can come together to offer.

We believe its going to be something that will be worth the wait. What do you think?
