Nokia Spills the Beans About Meego Mobile Phone

February 3, 2011, By Alex Ion

After seeing that sleek MeeGo tablet before its debut at MWC 2011 in Barcelona, we have to admit that we’re really digging a MeeGo smartphone. And wouldn’t you know it, we managed to snap a few details and a screenshot of that, exactly.

If rumors turn out to be true, the MeeGo smartphone will feature some amazing specs that will ‘wow’ quite a few. We’re talking about a 1.6GHz Intel processor, a touchscreen with a 854 x 480 pixels resolution and HSPA+ support allowing it up to 21MB/s speeds. On top of that all, the device is also said to be available with 1GB of RAM, HDMI output and a 200MHz graphic accelerator with 512MB of dedicated memory. Of course there’s WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS — a standard these days.

No word so far if the MeeGo smartphone is going to say “hi” to the world in Barcelona, what we know for sure is that the Mobile World Congress this year is going to be one of the most interesting conference of the year in the mobile business.

What do you think of a MeeGo mobile?
