February 3, 2011, By Leo Xavier

Yesterday, we had brought you the teaser video of the upcoming LG Optimus 3D handset. Now, the latest info suggests that the device is headed to Three and Vodafone in the UK.

Three has confirmed that it will be stocking the Optimus 3D when it is launched in the UK later this year. Vodafone will also be offering the handset and is saying that it would be “selling the eye-popping smartphone as soon as it’s available”.

But unfortunately, both the carriers have not given out any hints regarding an exact release date for the device.

And as you might know, yesterday’s video had confirmed that the new device will be coming equipped with a Dual-Core CPU and Multi-Channel RAM.

The device is touted to be the company’s most advanced smartphone to date, and will also be coming with a dual-lens camera for 3D recording, and a glasses-free LCD panel for viewing 3D.

The phone will be showcased at the upcoming Mobile World Congress scheduled to begin in a few days. We will be there at the event to bring you info about all that will be unveiled there. So stay tuned.
