HP Palm webOS Tablet Teaser Video Released

February 3, 2011, By Leo Xavier

HP has released a teaser video showing its upcoming webOS tablet that will be arriving in the coming week. HP and Palm will be showcasing the new tablet at an event scheduled to happen on the 9th of February. The company will also be unveiling new WebOS products there.

The new teaser gives us a glimpse of the upcoming tablet, most probably the Palm Topaz. In the video, we can see the shy device peeking cheekily out of the shadows.

But the device only shows up very briefly, which makes some of us believe that the device that has been teased might actually be a smartphone.

The smartphone that is being talked about is the 5 inch Palm Mansion, although people usually do not call a 5 inch device as a smartphone.

The tag line that HP is using for the webOS event is “Think big. Think small. Think ahead. Think beyond. February 9th, 2011.” We wont have to wait too long to know about the device that is in the video.

And we will be present at the event to provide you with as much information as possible regarding all the products that will be unveiled there.

As for the specs of the upcoming tablet, the device will feature a 9.7-inch multi-touch capacitive display with Gorilla, a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm MSM8660 processor coupled with Adreno 220 GPU, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth, ambient light sensor, notification lights, and accelerometer.
