White iPhone 4 set for a release in UK this March: Reports further confirm the February 27 launch date in USA

February 1, 2011, By Shawn Wagnon

We reported earlier today that the White iPhone 4 is indeed on its way out and unlike previously, this was not based on rumors and leaks but a statement from Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak. That is as substantial and authentic a source as you will ever get (unless you are well acquainted with Mr. Jobs) and he did confirm that the White iPhone 4 was ready and was being shipped. Now, we have what seems to be a release date for White iPhone 4 in the UK.

According to the source, White iPhone 4 is set for a release in the UK by the end of March and that seems about perfect as both Best Buy and AT&T seemed to indicate that they would start selling the White iPhone 4 by the end of February (Feb 27th, it seems). The source is placed in Vodafone UK and we have absolutely no reason to doubt the validity considered how Wozniak seemed to state the same.

With all technical glitches and making problems out of the way, it seems that the White iPhone 4 now will be finally out in a month’s time and it will be interesting to see if Verizon gets it right away as well. Stay tuned for more on the UK release date.
