Verizon Motorola Droid Bionic Listed on Amazon for $149.99

February 1, 2011, By Leo Xavier

We had brought you the news when two upcoming AT&T smartphones, the Motorola Atrix 4G and the HTC Inspire 4G, were spotted on the Amazon website. Now, the pricing information of another much anticipated device has also been leaked onto the website.

This time it’s the upcoming Motorola device, the Droid Bionic, with a 4.3 inch qHD display with a resolution of 540 x 960 and has a 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of DDR2 RAM, an 8 megapixel camera with HD video capabilities, a front-facing camera, Adobe Flash and HTML 5 support, and HDMI output.

The new device will be one of the first Android (Android 2.2 OS) handsets to be launched on Verizon’s 4G LTE network.

Now, the device has been listed at Amazon with a price tag of $149.99, the exact same price tag with which the Motorola Atrix was spotted on the retailer’s website. And just like earlier leaks, the newly leaked page has also been removed from the site.

It is not known about what is currently happening at Amazon. Either they have a serial leaker, who is giving the retailer all the troubles by leaking information, or someone is just posting misinformed details about Motorola’s upcoming phones, or there is also the possibility that the retailer is teasing future promotions in which it will be offering 4G handsets for the above said price.

We will let you when we get more info about it, and also when a new leak happens. So stay tuned to this space.
