Nook Color Honeycomb Now Available for Download (Videos)

February 1, 2011, By Leo Xavier

We have great news for all the owners of the Nook Color eReader tablet. Deeper-blue, who has recently been playing with the Honeycomb SDK, has released the Nook Color port of the Honeycomb SDK preview, and it is now available for download.

Right now, it is set to run off of an SD card, and you will be getting the following features at the moment: Graphics acceleration, Accelerometer, Wireless connectivity, Touchscreen, Buttons, and Sleep/Wake.

If you want to run Android 3.0 on your device now, you can do that from here.

But there is no surety that it will not cause any problems, especially since Deeper-blue is saying that “Use this on your own risk! I’m not responsible for any damages!”, so be careful with it.

And we have also added two videos of the device. The first one shows the Nook Color booting Android 3.0 Honeycomb, and the second one shows the device with Graphics Acceleration. Check out the videos, and you can comment about it in the box below.

Have your tired Honeycomb on your Nook Color? Is it working properly?
