Next Samsung Galaxy S Teasing Video; Samsung Promotes New Galaxy S II for Feb 13 Release at MWC

February 1, 2011, By Alex Ion

At this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Samsung plans to ‘wow’ the audience with quite a few announcements. The most interesting arrivals are the new Galaxy S smartphone and the new Tab that should be officially unveiled in less than 12 days. But before this happens, Samsung is going to tease you … just a bit.

On their Samsung Unpacked website, the company have just updated that “something big is coming”. And they do have some videos to add to the hype.

Another interesting thing is that, even if you won’t be in Barcelona just before Valentine’s Day, you’ll still be able to watch a live broadcast of the event from the comfort of your home as Samsung promises to provide an exclusive feed of the event on their Facebook page.

While nothing have been confirmed so far, rumors have it that the new Galaxy S is going to use Samsung’s new Super AMOLED Plus displays (1,280 x 800 resolutions that is) and could run on a Tegra 2 processor — if we’re to believe the guys from Barron’s saying that Samsung has placed a large order with NVIDIA for the chips.

Two very long weeks folks, I know, but all we can do right now is wait.

So how about you, what would you like Samsung to announce at MWC?
