Duke Nukem Forever to Hit PC, Xbox and PS3!

January 21, 2011, By Christian Cawley

He might be all out of bubblegum, but Duke Nukem is – finally – back. After a lifetime in development hell following his early 32-bit era escapades in Duke Nukem 3D and its various expansion packs (not to mention a few trips to console platforms of yesteryear) the man himself is set to return to PC and make a formal arrival on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 with Duke Nukem Forever.

Duke Nukem Forever to hit PC, Xbox 360 and PS3

You might recall Duke as a babe-lovin’, cigar-smoking, beer-chugging and ass-kicking kind of guy and he’s back in 2011 – 15 years after his last major appearance – as he saves the Earth and its babes from hordes of invading aliens!

Expect all of the same adult content in Duke Nukem Forever that you recall from the adult movie theater and buxom ladies that caused some controversy about the game on its first release – today’s announcement from 2K Games and Gearbox Software of the May 3, 2011 release in North America (May 6, 2011 for the rest of the world) makes it clear that Duke’s old habits die hard.

The new game offers the chance to shoot hoops, lift weights, read adult magazines, draw crude messages on whiteboards and ogle the many hot women that occupy Duke’s life, while he’s not taking apart pig guards, alien invasions and handling a variety of over the top weapons.
