One of the launch titles for the Nintendo 3DS is The Sims 3 from EA, a mobile console based version of the insanely popular life simulation game.

Sims 3 is a Nintendo 3DS launch title

The Sims 3 for Nintendo 3DS represents the first time a full-life simulation experience in a 3D world has been attempted on a handheld, and while the main elements of the game are retained, The Sims 3 also takes advantage of the new mobile consoles unique hardware attributes.

For instance, you no longer have to spend hours creating a 3D version of yourself – simply take advantage of the facial recognition technology of the Nintendo 3DS to capture your real-life likeness and import it into the game. Alternatively, do the same with your friends and family, transporting them into The Sims 3 and giving them a makeover before making their lives pure hell.

Another way in which you can interact with your Sims – beyond the standard wake/eat/work/eat/squeeze in a party/sleep/miss work pattern – is to take advantage of the Nintendo 3DS motion sensors which can be used to create horrific earthquakes in your Sim world!

The Sims 3 looks set to be a major title for the Nintendo 3DS – it’s feature-packed and offers more reasons to play than the PC and console versions.
