The Mobile World Congress starts on February 14, and it appears that another rumor has started to do the rounds around the web and this time it’s regarding an Android tablet from HTC.

As you might already know, there have been a lot of talks related to the arrival of HTC’s first Android tablet, the HTC Scribe. Earlier, it was rumored that the device will be announced at the upcoming MWC.

Now, a new rumor is suggesting that the HTC Flyer will be the first tablet to come out.

Digitimes, the ones who had started the Scribe rumor, are also the folks who are behind the present talks.

According to the rumor, the HTC Flyer will be the company’s first Android tablet. The Flyer will be running Android 2.3 Gingerbread and will be a larger version of the HTC Desire (pictured above). It is being rumored to be launching in March.

It is expected that the device will get Android 3.0 soon after its release, and 2 other HTC Android tablets with 3.0 will be available in June.

Hopefully, the company might also incorporate a dual core processor, and we wonder how the Sense + Gingerbread/Honeycomb will perform. So, that’s one more tablet in the already crowded tablet market.

More info will be available soon, so stay tuned.
