A new device with the model number SGH-T959V has just passed through the FCC. We suspect that this device is the Samsung Vibrant 4G that is expected to be released on the T-Mobile network in the near future. Check out the image from the FCC.

Yesterday, we had reported about a leaked image that was suspected to be that of the Vibrant 4G. And the leak also suggested that the device might run Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

Now, a new Samsung SGH-T959V has just got clearance from the FCC.

We believe that this might be the Vibrant 4G since the model number for the original Vibrant was SGH-T959, and also because of the fact that this new device, like the Vibrant, has support for AWS, which is needed by any T-Mobile 3G or 4G handset.

Furthermore, if you take a look at the image above, it certainly looks similar to the Vibrant 4G.

We are waiting for a confirmation, and will let you know as soon as new info arrives.

If the above device is the Samsung Vibrant 4G, it is expected to be announced soon and feature a 1GHz processor, a 4 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display and a five-megapixel camera. The device will be the world’s first phone with 21Mbps HSPA+ support.
