Notion Ink Adam Froyo Tablet Starts Shipping Tomorrow

January 19, 2011, By Leo Xavier

We have great news for those of you who are waiting to get your hands on Notion Ink’s Adam tablet. The company has announced that it will start shipping its FCC and CE certified tablet tomorrow.

If you have pre-ordered the device, your delivery status will be updated soon. If it had read February earlier, it should be now changed to the last week of January.

The company has said that it had announced a February release date because it was uncertain about the time that the tablet will take to clear the FCC.

And if you are someone who is waiting for the second round of pre-orders to begin, the company has also mentioned that it will begin as soon as the tablets get delivered in the US and the European countries.

So, the tablet will ship, and you will be getting the Eden UI that sits on top of Android 2.2 “Froyo”. The device also features NVIDIA Tegra 250.

The Adam tablet also comes with a 3.2 megapixel autofocus swivel camera (faces forward or backward), a 3 cell 24.6Whr battery, dual core Cortex A-9, ULP GPU, and 1GB of DDR2.

Are you excited about the news? Or are you anxiously awaiting the arrival of any other tablet?
