Samsung RMC30D1 Touchscreen Remote Control Device Passes Through FCC Gates; Release Likely Soon

January 17, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Remember, while on  a visit to the Samsung pavilion when CES 2011 was on at Las Vegas, you had the chance to encounter the Samsung RMC30D1 touchscreen remote control? We know you have been waiting in anticipation of a release date since then.

We guess the time is fast approaching and we might get to see it soon. The Samsung RMC30D1 touchscreen remote control has paid a visit to the FCC, igniting hopes of a possible debut very soon.

The impressive device comes with a rich 3-inch touchscreen LCD display and has the ability to run apps. Though we aren’t yet sure as to how many apps it would possibly be able to run, from what we get to learn, we believe it wouldn’t be something that we can ignore playing with.

The device is small by normal standards, and will have the capability to control almost any IR device. Now the details of the FCC listing is now available, but then our search for getting some first hand information on what the pricing or availability aspects would be failed to yield results.

However, with the device passing through the FCC gates, we would want to believe that the Samsung RMC30D1 touchscreen remote control device would soon hit retail.

If you have heard anything on that front, please do not hesitate to tell us. In the meantime, let us show you a video of the Samsung RMC30D1 Touch Screen App-enabled Remote Control.
