LG Optimus 2X Records Video in 1920×1080 Full HD Mode

January 17, 2011, By Leo Xavier

As you already know, the LG Optimus 2X smartphone was one of the major attractions at the CES 2011. The device comes packed with a lot of features, but will only arrive sometime later. But now, a video recording sample of the device has been spotted online.

Earlier, the highest HD resolution video recording available on handsets was 720p. But that became history with the unveiling of the LG Optimus 2X.

The device is the first one to feature 1080p resolution video recording.

From the video clip posted below, you can see that the device’s full HD footage is sharp, although not entirely that smooth. The sound recording of the device seems to be working quite well, considering the whipping wind that is there in the background.

Check out the video and you can comment about it in the box below.

Just to remind you about the specs of the upcoming device, the device comes equipped with a powerful dual core 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, and runs Android 2.2 Froyo.

It also comes with a 4 inch capacitive display with a resolution of 480 x 800, a 1500 mAh battery, a microSD card slot, A-GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, and an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and autofocus.
