Samsung Galaxy S Mini Pictures Out in the Open; Smartphone to Arrive in Time for MWC

Images of an upcoming compact Samsung Android smartphone have been found in the wild. Though there hasn’t been any official confirmation as to what model this is, we are forced to speculate that the device could most probably be the Samsung Galaxy S Mini.

This Samsung device is based on the Google Android 2.2 Froyo OS and has the model number S5830. The smartphone is expected to come sporting  a 5MP camera with LED flash. The users can also record 720p HD videos with this camera.

The camera will offer a maximum resolution of 2560×1920 and the video camera is expected to boast of  1280×720 resolution.

There is no information as yet about the display of the phone, but from what we get to know, the screen will boast a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels.

Connectivity options would be taken care of by the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capabilities. Meanwhile, a 3.5mm headphone socket and the microUSB port would also be part of the connectivity options of the phone. A microSD card slot is also expected so as to allow you go about expanding storage capacity.

We guess the device is ready for release, and expect the launch to happen   at this year’s  Mobile World Congress (MWC) that gets underway this February at Barcelona.

Samsung is expected to release at least one new Galaxy Tab and Super AMOLED Plus based dual-core Smartphones at the show.
