We have great news for our Canadian readers who are waiting for another Windows Phone 7 handset to hit Bell Mobility. It appears that the carrier is getting ready to launch the HTC HD7 smartphone and the device is expected to arrive next month.

As you might know, the first Windows Phone 7 handset to be released by Bell was the LG Quantum. Now, latest info suggests that the carrier’s second WP7 smartphone will be available starting February 10.

As for the specs of the device, the HTC HD7 does not come equipped with a sliding QWERTY keyboard like the Quantum.

The HD7 has a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and boasts a massive 4.3 inch WVGA display (whereas the LG Quantum only has a 3.5 screen). The display has a resolution of 480 x 800.

The HD7 also comes with WiFi, GPS, a 3.5mm headset jack, Dolby Mobile and SRS sound enhancement, a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and dual LED flash, HD video recording, and 576MB of RAM. A 1230 mAh battery is also included in the package.

Unfortunately, there were no clues about how much the device will cost. But, it is worth mentioning that the LG Quantum currently costs $79.95 with a new 3-year contract.
