Sony Ericsson PlayStation Phone Leaked Again

January 10, 2011, By Leo Xavier

Although Sony Ericsson’s upcoming PlayStation Phone, the Xperia Play, was not shown off at CES 2011, the reports about the device still came on various tech sites due to the leaks that occurred. Now, the device has leaked again and this time it has been spotted alongside a variety of Sony PlayStation portables and Sony Ericsson handsets.

The new leak has brought out the device up against the PSP-1000, the PSP Go, DSi, GBA SP and other Sony Ericsson handsets.

It seems that our source has spent some time with the new device and it has even managed to get a third-party gaming emulator running on the smartphone. Our source claims that it was a “70-percent success”.

The device will most likely be unveiled at Mobile World Congress in the coming month, and it is expected to come equipped with a 1 GHz processor with an Adreno 205 GPU, 512MB of RAM, and a 3 inch HVGA Bravia display. It is also said to be running the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.
