HP Pavilion dm1-3010 11.6″ Notebook Announced; HP Pavilion dm1 is 4G LTE Capable for Verizon’s Network

Along with the Compaq CQ10-688 netbook, Verizon also announced a 11.6-inch notebook, the new HP Pavilion dm1-3010 is not just another 4G LTE capable device, it’s the first laptop in the world to take advantage of Verizon’s “blazingly fast” network and its amazing download speeds.

At just less than 1-inch thick, HP Pavilion dm1-3010 “combines the performance of a notebook with the mobility of a netbook”. And in all honesty, this one really caught our attention. Probably because of the 11.6-inch HD HP Bright View LED Display (1366 x 768) and the HP CoolSense Technology that uses some advanced hardware and intelligent cooling software to make it “noticeably cooler”, even when you watch Full HD content (1080p).

Along the same lines, the HP Pavilion dm1 is powered by an AMD Fusion Accelerated Processing Unit that comes with a Windows DirectX 11-capable GPU bundled inside the main processor.

Another key point is the battery life — HP promises that your Pavilion dm1-3010 will have sufficient power for up to 9.5 hours of usage.

Other goodies for the newly announced HP Pavilion dm1-3010 include a full-size, island-style keyboard which comes in handy if you have my fingers, a multi-format digital media card reader and an HDMI port so that you can connect it to your HDTV easily. There’s also Dolby Advanced Audio and GPS for mapping and navigation.

Connectivity wise, there’s WiFi, Bluetooth and Verizon Wireless 3G and 4G LTE support.

The Pavilion dm1 comes with a 948MB AMD Radeon HD 6310M card and has 2GB of DDR3 RAM memory. It runs Windows 7 Home Edition.

A price or a release date are yet to be announced, but we’re sure Verizon will have more info for us in the coming weeks.

Not sure about you, but I totally dig this Pavilion dm1-3010. Price it right Verizon … that’s all you need to do.
