Verizon Samsung Galaxy Tab Price Lowered to $499; Existing Owners to Get a $100 Refund Too!

January 3, 2011, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Verizon’s Samsung  Galaxy Tab fans are in for a New Year treat. If you are one of those who have been waiting to buy your Galaxy Tab, this is when you should be doing that.  The device on Verizon will be available for a discounted price. The new snipped price will range between $100 and $499.

It isn’t just the new buyers who will be able to enjoy this price cut. Those who have already bought the device will also get a refund. Doesn’t that sound absolutely exciting?

Though the price cut hasn’t technically come into effect, it soon will. New Year treats have never been so enticing, right? To get the refund, those who have already purchased the device on Verizon for $599 will have to produce the receipt that  proves that they have already bought the Galaxy Tab during the past 14 days.  We hear the refund would be to the tune of $100.

If that offer isn’t enough, let us tell you Verizon has also included a $60-worth of free movie rentals for the Samsung Media Hub or the Blockbuster Mobile app also.

The deal, we believe, is one of the best and comes perfectly timed for the New Year. Are you one of those who have already bought the Galaxy Tab on Verizon? This is your New Year gift, no doubt. And, those you haven’t yet purchased your device, what are you waiting for now?
