Bungie Teasing New Project?

December 31, 2010, By Christian Davis

With Bungie being done with the Halo franchise, we all are eager to know what they’re going to be doing next.  A website has surfaced that is counting down a possibly secret project by Bungie.

The site is Bungieaerospace.org. The website doesn’t have any pictures or logos. Just  a counter in the center and the words “Tru7h” at the top of the page. The 7 in Tru7h is a link to Bungie.net.

There isn’t any indication that the site is actually from Bungie and could very well be fan made, but we’ll stay optimistic. It could be related to those leaked photos from Tom Morello that were said to be fakes.

UPDATE

Here’s an image from the websites backlog as well as some coding from the site. Big announcement are in bold.

<html><!– transmission –> <title>TRANSMITTING…</title> <body bgcolor=”#000000″ text=”#F0FFFF”> <br> <p> <center> Tru<a href=”http://www.bungie.net”><font color=#00ff00>7</font></a>h<br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br>
<br><br> <font color=#00ff00><script type=”text/javascript”>
dateFuture = new Date(2011,0,4,19,7,7);
function GetCount(){

dateNow = new Date();
amount = dateFuture.getTime() – dateNow.getTime();
delete dateNow;
if(amount < 0){
document.getElementById(‘countbox’).innerHTML=”BIG ANNOUCEMENT!”;
}

else{
days=0;hours=0;mins=0;secs=0;out=””;

At the bottom of the coding is this:
window.onload=GetCount;
</script>
<div id=”countbox”></div>
</font> <p> </body><!–COde ErrOR: 931.461.60231.14.vt920, Please REBOOT to FiX…–> </html>
The code line “VT920” was also used in older Marathon screens for Hang Brain Terminal 0. That site can be found HERE.
The Latin in the image “sic itur ad astra” translates to “So about to go to star” probably meaning about to travel to the stars. The second line “fatum iustum stultorum” means “Fate what is right fools.”
Thanks to some forum pals for the help.
