HTC Scribe uncovered at US Trademark Filings: Could HTC launch the Scribe Tablet at CES 2011 or MWC?

December 30, 2010, By Shawn Wagnon

The Tablet market is so hot at the moment that everyone is trying to get their act together and get a foot in the door as early as possible. There are those who are behind the ball at the moment, but it only seems a matter of time before many more step into the tablet market and challenge the current established big guns. We are aware since long that HTC have been trying to put together a Tablet that would hit the stores somewhere in 2011. But the first solid proof of this has been just uncovered and this time the news comes from the US Trademark filings of the company!

HTC have filed for the name of ‘Scribe’ and it is almost certain by looking at the description of the product that it is indeed a Tablet that is in the making. This confirms the many rumors that have indicated that HTC is furiously working at getting a tablet ready for release in 2011 so that they do not fall behind competition a whole lot.

So is HTC Scribe a Honeycomb tablet lined up for CES 2011 or maybe Mobile World Congress later in February? We will have to wait a bit longer to find out those answers…
