Samsung has announced the launch of NX11, the most awaited upgrade to their first mirrorless interchangeable lens camera NX10. It has also introduced a set of i-Function lenses, a 20mm pancake and a 20-50 mm zoom silver color lens. NX11 is compatible with these i-Function lenses as well as the 18-55 mm i-Function lens.

The i-Function lenses give more usable options for a user so that he/she need not take the camera off the target while adjusting aperture, shutter speed and all.

The in-built button on the i-Function lens allows the users to effortlessly adjust the shutter speed, Exposure Value, White Balance and aperture with their left hand.

NX11 features a lens priority mode dial helping the user to set the most suitable mode for the lens being used. With Its panorama mode, users can capture wide landscapes in a press and sweep motion.

Apart from these additional features, NX11 comes with all the usual baggage like the built-in flash, electronic view finder and 3.0” AMOLED screen. Destined to hit the shelves by February, with a price tag of $649, this 14.6 megapixel NX11 offers 720p HD recording also.

Well, there is more news from Samsung. To make it two birds in one go, they have also announced the launch of WB700, with 24X zoom coupled with the 24mm ultra-wide capability of the Schneider KREUZNACH lens.

To add to the fun, WB 700 features Smart Filter 2.0 which offers an array of artistic filters for the user. Apart from the usual stuff, it touts about the enhanced zoom noise reduction while recording videos.

With a 16 MP CCD sensor, WB700 not only gives crystal clear wide and zoom pictures, but also offers 1080p HD video recording. It will be available from April onwards for a price of $299.99.
