Since the CES is just on our door step, the rumor mills have started their job with predictions about the amazing gadgets to be showcased there. Well, we have heard a lot, but one rumor has really lured us into brining it to you. The grapevine is that new E-PL2 will be the most enchanting announcement from Olympus at the CES 2011.

Succeeding the Olympus E-PL1 Micro Four Thirds System interchangeable lens digital camera, the rumored gadget is heard to have stunning features. Though E-PL2 features a similar sensor as its predecessor, it has something new to claim, the major one being the 14-42mm movie and still compatible kit lens with f-stop values ranging form f3.5 to f5.6.

Moreover, the E-PL2 is rumored to have a direct movie button. To give better preview to the users, it features a 3 inch LCD display. If the rumors spreading in the neighborhood are anything to count on, the most stunning feature of this new rig from Olympus will be an external Bluetooth module which will be a hit with the social-networking frenzy users.

The Bluetooth module, if attached with the hot-shoe, is said to be capable of sending the pictures to your Android or Windows phone, which means instantly publishing them to Flickr or Facebook or any such social networking spheres in the cyber world.

Well, all these are rumors, and are yet to be confirmed by Olympus. However, the tail end of the rumor adds some more details, that, E-PL2 can get pictures at very low-light conditions with its high ISO mode of ISO 6400.

To add more fun to snapping pics, the new cam from Olympus is heard to be featuring a new artistic filter – ‘Dramatic Tone’. Well, we are trying to get some confirmation from our sources, if we are not able to get it soon; CES is just a week away. Stay tuned for a confirmed update.
