December 29, 2010, By Leo Xavier

You might not have forgotten the Android handsets that were shown off by Huawei earlier this month. One of those devices was the Huawei IDEOS X5. But the company did not reveal the entire features of the upcoming device at the time. Now, the company has just released the specs of the device.

The Huawei IDEOS X5, which runs Android 2.2 Froyo, will come equipped with a 3.8-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 800×480 and support for multi-touch. The device will have a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and 720p video capture capabilities.

You will be getting A-GPS, an integrated compass and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity with A2DP. It also features a 3.5mm audio jack, along with support for Flash Player 10.1.

The company is also launching the device with preinstalled Aldiko eReader application and you will also get all of the standard Google services including Talk, and Gmail. A 1500mAh Lithium Polymer battery is also included in the package.

But the only thing that is missing from the list is the details about the processor that is coming with the device.

When the device was teased earlier, there were suggestions that the device will feature a 1GHz processor. It is not known whether the company has plans for the same.
