The Google Android 2.2 Froyo-powered Dell Venue has made a quiet appearance on Dell’s India website.  The surfacing of the Venue, which looks like it has taken off from the Dell Venue Pro that runs Microsoft Windows Phone 7 Mobile OS, brings in some amount of excitement to that part of the world.

Sporting 4.1 inches of screen real estate, the device has been touted as coming with a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 microprocessor, PC Syncing Software and more. The 4.1 inches of display boast of a WVGA AMOLED properties. Other features include an 8 mega pixel camera that also offers to go into video capture mode.

You may be aware that the phone was unveiled last week globally. But the India arrival comes as a surprise, owing to the fact that nobody expected the device to sail into India shores so soon.

Significantly, even after having been listed on the Dell India site, there has been no word yet on the pricing factor for the region. But then, we expect Dell to sell the model in India for something around Rs 30,000.

For that amount, you will soon be able to pick the device that sports a display glass spruced up with Gorilla Glass technology. An 800×480 pixel resolution and a 1GB on-board storage which can be further pushed up to 32GB by way of a microSD card complete the specs. A 1400mAh battery powers the device for more than 4.5 hours at one go.

What does the India arrival mean for the US and European markets? May be Dell is first testing Asia (the device has been brought to Korean too) before being officially introduced to the US and European markets.
