LG will be launching the LG Optimus 2X in Europe in January 2011. The company has made it clear that they will be launching their flagship Android smartphone with a range of music ring tones in collaboration with Ennio Morricone.

The device features a 4 inch WVGA display and will be powered with the dual core 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. It will be one of the first Android smartphones to get powered up by a dual core processor.

The phone has a built-in storage capacity of 8GB and the built in microSD card slot helps the users to expand the storage capacity up to 32GB. The 8MP camera incorporated on the rear allows the users to click and capture quality pictures. It has also got a 1.3MP front facing camera that enables video chat.

The users will be able to record as well as playback Full HD video in 1080p with this phone and the 1500mAh battery offers a good backup.

The company has also incorporated a microUSB port into this phone which is based on the Google Android 2.2 Froyo platform, but the company has promised an upgrade to the latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread soon after the launch.

Although there is  no mention about the pricing, we are expecting this phone to have a good run in the markets with its agreeable tech specs.
