Asus Eee Pad EP121 Video Teaser Indicates a 12-inch Core i5 Windows 7 Slate

Asus has planned to launch their Eee Pad EP121 tablet at the CES in January2011. Even before the official launch, the company has started to give out some serious hints about their upcoming device.

A teaser video is out now and it clearly shows off some of the remarkable features that the device is going to bear.

Now it is confirmed that the device will be featuring a 12-inch display and will be running with the latest Intel Core i5 processor. Earlier it was expected to bear the Core 2 Duo ULV chip, but replacing it with an i5 processor is definitely a good move.

The gadget will be based on the Windows 7 OS and the connectivity options are inclusive of HDMI and USB connectivity.

It also features a web-cam to enable the video chat and the SD card slot will help the users in expanding the storage options. The EP121 bears a multitouch display and from the teaser video we can confirm that it ill be working with a digital stylus for art work. So it is likely to feature a dual-mode active digitizer that supports both finger and pen control.

The company claims the device to be a machine for content creation as well as consumption. They also say that it will be a useful one for gaming and streaming of HD video.

The gadget is surely to make news at the CES, and the customers are looking forward to find out how appealing this Windows 7 tablet is.
