Sprint HTC EVO Shift 4G Pictures Leaked Again

December 22, 2010, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

After a number of unofficial reports, it is another leak of the pictures of HTC EVO Shift 4G and this time we have spotted the Sprint logo on the top right corner of the phone.

There had been rumors about the release date of the device and now it is for the first time that we see the phone without the protective cover.

We expect an early 2011 release, probably in the very first month of the year. The device is likely to be the first WiMAX phone of Sprint, and you might already know that it is also called as the HTC Knight or Speedy.

The phone is crafted with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and it is expected to bear an 800MHz processor similar to the T-Mobile G2 and the HTC Desire Z. It is likely to be brought out with the HTC Sense interface.

It may bear a headphone jack at the top edge and is probably crafted with LEDs for the Caps Lock and Functions Lock right above the keyboard.

Although there had been numerous unofficial reports and rumors spreading out, we are not able to confirm the exact release date of the device. We expect the companies, either Sprint or HTC to come up with some official announcement to confirm the release of this device.
