Notion Ink Adam Tablet Gets Eden UI; Shipping Date Expected Soon

December 21, 2010, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

The Notion Ink Adam tablet has been in the news for quite a while now and every time we hear about it we get some additional info on the device. The latest we came across is info on the device is that it will sport the new Eden user interface.

A video of the Eden UI for the Notion Ink Adam has surfaced and currently doing the rounds. From what we see, prospective buyers can look forward to some amazing multitasking with their fingertips.

The Eden UI, as per the guys at Geeky Gadgets, provides a multi-pane view letting you browse, rearrange and what not. We get to understand that the Notion Ink multitasking system means that only the active panel on-screen is using system resources.

So when the device arrives in your hands you can proud of being able to play with the intelligently made Eden on your 10.1-inch slate that would run on Android. The device, as we had told you earlier, would come with Pixel Qi’s 3qi display technology. Under hood would be NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 chipset and the device will also have full Flash support.

Though a final shipping date has not been revealed as yet, we guess a launch is in the offing. The quick succession of now coming through makes us believe so. What do you think?

Here’s a video that explains the Eden UI on the Notion Ink Adam slate.
